If I were as small as Domo here, I would also love to cuddle these books:

Le Domokun et les livres. Plus my Judy Blume obsession )

Now my girlcrush on Ms. Winterson, that's another story:
First, a lovely quote from ze book:

Of course that is not the whole story, but that is the way with stories, we make them what we will. It's a way of explaining the universe, while leaving the universe unexplained. It's a way of keeping it all alive, not boxing it in time. Everyone who tells a story tells it differently, just to remind us that everybody sees it differently. Some people say there are true things to be found, some say all kinds of things can be proved. I don't believe them. The only thing for certain is how complicated it all is, like a string full of knots. It's all there but hard to find the beginning and impossible to fathom the end.

Then, a disclaimer: I LOVED Written on the Body by Jeanette Winterson, but before I bought that I knew about this book first. It was recommended by a queer online friend and it just so happened I chanced upon Written on the body first, but that's another story.
Anyway, I read this with high expectations, and I was disappointed. Not greatly, because Winterson could make garble sound poetic, but I'm more of a plot more than style girl, so this lacked chili peppers for me. It just wasn't unforgettable.
