Have a SIP
Oct. 28th, 2009 01:06 pmI am quite in love with "Strangers in Paradise". It's hard not to have a crush on Katchoo. (*dreamy sigh*)
If I were to choose the cast for (gasp!) a movie, here are my choices:
For Katchoo:
Clea Duvall, for that hot, tough and endearing vibe. If you know me from way back, you'd know that I have this obsession with Angelina Jolie and Clea Duvall. Oh and a bit of that Shane obsession too.:
For Francine:
A tie between
Amber Benson
and
Laura Prepon. Both women exude that smart, funny, a bit awkward girl-next-door vibe, someone Katchoo would definitely fall in love with.
I think as of now my top two fave graphic novels are:
1. Strangers in Paradise
2. Y The Last Man
Have read "Fun Home" too and the Sandman series, Fables, and also a bit of Watchmen (sorry I really couldn't finish it) and Blankets. They're all great, with amazing storylines and illustrations, but I was moved the most by these two. I first saw "Strangers in Paradise" a few years ago and read what I can inside bookstores, only getting to read it again recently.
Now I am crying at work, laughing a few minutes ago. My seatmate keeps giving me weirded out looks.
