Anansi Boys by Neil Gaiman

Very few people get to sing their own song. Most of us fear that we cannot do it justice with our voices, or that our words are too foolish or too honest, or too odd. So people live their songs instead."
"Stories are webs, interconnected strand to strand, and you follow each story to the center, because the center is the end. Each person is a strand of story."
One of the best books I've ever read. I loved every bit of it, from the zany characters, to the funny parts, to the plot twists. So there's this normal guy who is forced into a "godly" sort of state by his..(surprise!) brother and while I was reading it I kept thinking this would make a fabulous movie, with all the fantastical elements, the romance, the adventure, and the witty dialogue, preferably with someone British with a sexy accent and impeccable timing and maybe CGI gods? Or one shown entirely in shadows? That would be awesome. *End gush*.
What I think: 9 unicorns
